The Journey Into Art: What Is At Your Feet Is As Important As What You See In The Distance

I love wide angle shots. They let me see what is at my feet in the foreground and what is farther afield. I can have an image from my feet to the horizon.

Earlier in life I only focused on the horizon and missed what was at my feet.

It seems to me that there is always a difficult balance between focusing on what is at my feet in this present moment and what is on the horizon, showing me a greater landscape.

Greater visions of life versus the life in front of me. That's why I like wide angle shots. They make me think.
